Kape’t Gunita Café was founded by two best friends, Celita and Chanti — both proud daughters of Batangas City, Philippines. Though their paths first crossed in Canada, it was their shared roots and deep love for Filipino culture that brought them closer together. In 2023, they opened the café with the dream of creating a warm space where stories, memories, and flavors come together.
At the heart of their menu is the bold and beloved Kapeng Barako, a coffee that reflects their heritage and the strength of Filipino tradition. But beyond coffee, the café became a home for all — a cozy space where people from different countries and walks of life gather, connect, and experience a slice of Filipino warmth and hospitality.
